With Illex quieted it's much too easy for Donnie to let his attention be completely wrapped up in the plants here. He's surprised to find a Void Palm of all things here, but then there had been specimens going out for study. He does have to frown at the state of the plants in general.
"Poor things. I highly doubt a mall is the best space for you. ...then again indoors would have to be highly adjusted to your specific needs," he murmurs, fingers brushing the fronds of the ferns.
He eyes the Void Fruit. The plant in general might be pricey, but it'd be worth it if he could save it. And at the very least, he'd be able to get his hands on actual fruit.
"Maybe they'll be more open to haggling, here," he muses as he tries to see about getting the pot.
